Det g\u00e5r exempelvis att s\u00f6ka f\u00f6r:<\/p>\n S\u00f6kande kan vara en f\u00f6rening med verksamhet i Leader Sjuh\u00e4rads geografiska omr\u00e5de. \u00c4ven andra akt\u00f6rer, exempelvis f\u00f6retag och privatpersoner, kan s\u00f6ka s\u00e5 l\u00e4nge projektet \u00e4r allm\u00e4nnyttigt. Deltagarna fick l\u00e4ra sig b\u00e5de teori och praktik om tekniken och nyttan med br\u00e4nning av gr\u00e4smarker. Br\u00e4nning av gr\u00e4smarker kan vara en effektiv \u00e5tg\u00e4rd f\u00f6r att \u00f6ka naturv\u00e4rden i \u00e4ngs- och gr\u00e4smarker, dels genom att gammal f\u00f6rna tas bort och genom att vissa arter som backsippa och kattfot specifikt gynnas av brand. Br\u00e4nningen under kursen genomf\u00f6rdes p\u00e5 en plats i Bollebygd d\u00e4r det bla v\u00e4xer backsippor. Syftet har varit att st\u00f6tta f\u00e5glarna med f\u00f6da under vinterm\u00e5naderna samt att v\u00e4cka intresse f\u00f6r f\u00e5glar bland allm\u00e4nheten. Arterna som bes\u00f6kt f\u00e5gelmatningen har systematiskt dokumenterats med foto och rapporterats in till Artportalen. Detta \u00e4r ett s\u00e4tt f\u00f6r att f\u00f6rs\u00f6ka s\u00e4kerst\u00e4lla \u00f6verlevnaden lokalt f\u00f6r dessa v\u00e4xter. I projektet har \u00e4ven en f\u00f6rel\u00e4sning om \u00e4ngar ordnats f\u00f6r att sprida kunskap om \u00e4ngars betydelse f\u00f6r den biologiska m\u00e5ngfalden. Dessa ugglor \u00e4r beroende av gamla skogar och tr\u00e4d med naturliga h\u00e5ligheter f\u00f6r att kunna h\u00e4cka, men modernt skogsbruk har minskat tillg\u00e5ngen till dessa milj\u00f6er. Genom projektet ca 50 holkar tillverkats och satts upp i skogar hos mark\u00e4gare runt om i Sjuh\u00e4rad. Deltagarna har genom projektet f\u00e5tt l\u00e4ra sig om liehantering, redskapssk\u00f6tsel och sl\u00e5tterteknik, vilket m\u00f6jligg\u00f6r fortsatt sk\u00f6tsel av artrika marker.<\/p>\n St\u00f6det har anv\u00e4nts till utbildning med erfaren kursledare, ink\u00f6p av liar och enklare f\u00f6rt\u00e4ring under kursen.
