Om projektet<\/h2>\n

Essunga kommun driver ett samarbetsprojekt med Gr\u00e4storp, V\u00e5rg\u00e5rda och Herrljunga f\u00f6r att unders\u00f6ka m\u00f6jligheterna att utveckla en kvalitetss\u00e4krad och tillg\u00e4nglig paddelled i Nossan. Syftet \u00e4r att g\u00f6ra \u00e5n till en attraktiv plats f\u00f6r friluftsliv och h\u00e5llbar turism \u2013 b\u00e5de f\u00f6r lokalbor och bes\u00f6kare.<\/p>\n

F\u00f6rstudiens omfattning<\/h3>\n

Arbetet fokuserar p\u00e5 str\u00e4ckan mellan Hudene och utloppet i D\u00e4ttern. Just den delen av \u00e5n bed\u00f6mer projektgruppen som s\u00e4rskilt l\u00e4mplig och tilltalande f\u00f6r paddling. Eftersom leden l\u00f6per genom flera kommuner, delar tv\u00e5 leaderomr\u00e5den p\u00e5 finansieringen. Vi,\u00a0Leader Sjuh\u00e4rad, st\u00f6djer de delar av f\u00f6rstudien som r\u00f6r paddelstr\u00e4ckorna i V\u00e5rg\u00e5rda och Herrljunga. Samtidigt finansierar Leader Nordv\u00e4stra Skaraborg arbetet i Essunga och Gr\u00e4storp.<\/p>\n

Projektet kartl\u00e4gger vilka str\u00e4ckor som redan fungerar f\u00f6r paddling och vilka som kr\u00e4ver \u00e5tg\u00e4rder f\u00f6r att bli tillg\u00e4ngliga f\u00f6r kanot, kajak och SUP. Dessutom identifierar gruppen befintliga il\u00e4ggningsplatser, bryggor, rastplatser och andra viktiga funktioner l\u00e4ngs hela str\u00e4ckan.\u00a0Parallellt kartl\u00e4gger teamet hur leden kan bli mer inkluderande. De unders\u00f6ker s\u00e4rskilt hur man kan g\u00f6ra platser mer tillg\u00e4ngliga f\u00f6r barnfamiljer, \u00e4ldre och personer med funktionsneds\u00e4ttning. P\u00e5 s\u00e5 s\u00e4tt skapas b\u00e4ttre m\u00f6jligheter till friluftsliv f\u00f6r fler.<\/p>\n

H\u00e5llbarhet i fokus<\/h3>\n

En viktig del av f\u00f6rstudien \u00e4r att analysera hur paddelleden kan p\u00e5verka v\u00e4xt- och djurlivet i och kring Nossan. D\u00e4rf\u00f6r genomf\u00f6r projektet en milj\u00f6m\u00e4ssig riskanalys och f\u00f6resl\u00e5r ett kontrollprogram – allt f\u00f6r att s\u00e4kerst\u00e4lla att framtida \u00e5tg\u00e4rder genomf\u00f6rs med h\u00e4nsyn till naturv\u00e4rden.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Mot en framtida destination<\/h3>\n

M\u00e5let med f\u00f6rstudien \u00e4r att l\u00e4gga grunden f\u00f6r ett kommande genomf\u00f6randeprojekt. P\u00e5 sikt ska Nossan kunna utvecklas till en v\u00e4lbes\u00f6kt destination f\u00f6r b\u00e5de lokalbor och turister. En f\u00e4rdig paddelled skulle inte bara erbjuda naturupplevelser, utan \u00e4ven bidra till bes\u00f6ksn\u00e4ringen genom kopplingar till matupplevelser, boenden och kulturevenemang. Dessutom finns potential att skapa synergieffekter med andra leder i regionen, exempelvis den planerade cykelleden mellan G\u00f6teborg och Falk\u00f6ping.<\/p>\n

Genom detta gemensamma initiativ vill kommunerna lyfta Nossan som en unik plats f\u00f6r h\u00e5llbara upplevelser, rekreation och samverkan.<\/p>\n
