Beredskapsträff i Fotskäls bygdegård
27 november klockan 18.00-21.00
Imagine a prolonged power outage that comes suddenly and affects a large part of our country. The heating stops working, there is no water coming from the tap, and neither swish nor credit cards can be used as payment to buy food. There may also be problems with goods running out in stores, medicine that cannot be obtained, and you cannot refuel your car…
Do you think the scenario feels exaggerated? Even though Sweden is a safe country, there are threats to our security, and extreme weather that disrupts our daily lives is becoming increasingly common. But what crises should one prepare for? Which organizations are working on the issue? And how can we locally help each other when the crisis is a fact? Yes, these are some of the questions that will be discussed around Sjuhärad this fall. During October-November, we will conduct a preparedness tour around Sjuhärad, as part of the project Ready.
In each municipality, an evening is organized with the following on the agenda:
- Lecture with preparedness expert Torbjörn Selin.
- Workshop: What community crises can arise and how can our locality help each other in an initial stage?
- The municipality's preparedness coordinator presents their work
- We provide coffee and snacks!
- Raffle: 20 fire steels/evening will be raffled among the participants
Hope to see you in a community center near you!
