Leader Sjuhärad's board consists of 15 members – five from the non-profit sector, five from the private sector and five from the public sector. The distribution is important because the Leader method is based on collaboration and locally based decisions.

The board makes locally based decisions
The board leads the work of steering the operations towards the goals of our local development strategy, they spread the word about the association and decide which projects will be granted leader support. In order to be able to make well-considered and locally anchored decisions, the members have a broad range of expertise and different perspectives.
Once the board has decided on support, the Swedish Board of Agriculture makes the formal authority decision. The Swedish Board of Agriculture is also responsible for monitoring and auditing our operations.

Would you or someone you know like to contribute to rural development in Sjuhärad? The nomination committee is happy to accept nominations for the board. The assignment is suitable for those who want to work strategically, contribute with your knowledge and be part of a committed board with high expectations.
You can nominate yourself or someone else. The Nomination Committee is most active before the association's annual meetings, which means that it may take a while before contact is made. If it becomes necessary to proceed with the nomination, the Nomination Committee will contact the nominee.
