Meeting place close to nature

The project aims to create a nature-based meeting place for children and young people in Holsljunga. By establishing a simple gathering place and conducting activities such as Nature Scouts, meditation meetings, and initiatives for biological diversity, new opportunities for community and nature experiences are created. The goal is to establish a long-term meeting place and recurring activities that strengthen children's relationship with nature and promote health and well-being.

Grow and refine vegetables with children and young people

The project aims to create a meeting place around cultivation where children and young people can learn the entire process from cultivation and harvest to refinement and sale of vegetables. By establishing cultivation areas, greenhouses, root cellars, and irrigation systems, as well as conducting cultivation meetings and study circles, a long-term operation is created in Holsljunga. The goal is to increase knowledge about food production, sustainability, and entrepreneurship while new meeting places and activities are developed for children and families.

Games and movement at the Weaving Plant

VÄV – We Are Väveriet wants to develop Väveriet in Uddebo with more free activities such as ping-pong, chess and skateboarding. By creating more opportunities for spontaneous movement and social activities, the association wants to make the place even more vibrant and accessible for both residents and visitors. The project is aimed at all ages and will contribute to increased community and more meetings between people in the area.

Tones & Threads – a concert walk for children

In this project, a concert walk for children is carried out at a local history museum. Through music, storytelling and play, the children discover the history of the place in a simple and engaging way. During the walk, they also participate in the creation of a common natural fabric from materials from the surrounding area. The initiative makes the local history museum more alive and accessible to younger visitors and creates a new recurring activity.

Cultivating for community in Svenljunga

In this project, a growing area is being renovated to create a common meeting place for residents in the area. By growing together, participants learn more about growing and at the same time build community. The project also includes the construction of compost and storage facilities as well as joint activities such as workshops and a harvest party. The initiative makes it easier for residents to meet and contributes to increased participation and well-being in the area.

Training course and meeting place in Sjötofta

Sjötofta parish association wants to create a vibrant meeting place where exercise and community go hand in hand. By developing a local gym with an inviting social area and free training courses, residents will have a place to both exercise and meet. The project is aimed at all ages and lowers the thresholds for those who want to try exercise or just meet others. With the initiative, the association wants to strengthen public health, break loneliness and build a long-term meeting place that gives new life to the village.

Co-cultivation

A new meeting place is being created in Sassarp where people can gather around communal farming. Here, residents have the opportunity to farm together, share knowledge and build community in an inspiring environment. The initiative promotes sustainable, non-toxic food production and strengthens both social ties and local preparedness through increased self-sufficiency and collaboration.

Beginner-friendly and adapted skateboard hall

Marks Skate Club wants to make its skateboard hall more accessible and welcoming to new skaters. By building beginner-friendly obstacles, offering equipment to borrow and creating a social hangout with games and creative creation, more young people will have the opportunity to find their place. The project is run together with the young people themselves, who are involved in shaping both the content and the environment. With this initiative, the association wants to lower the thresholds for the sport, strengthen the community and create a safe meeting place where young people can develop and have fun together.

Uddebo Meet

Uddebo continues to grow – and now two committed villagers want to create a new meeting place that strengthens the community. Through four meetings with workshops and conversations, more people will feel involved in the village's development. The initiative wants to increase inclusion, build bridges between generations and inspire new collaborations. The goal is a living forum that lives on and becomes a natural force for the future of Uddebo.

Cultivate community

It started with a few passionate individuals in Skene who had an idea to make residential cultivation a vibrant meeting place. By establishing an area with about 100 cultivation boxes, around forty growers have now gathered and formed a new association. The project has combined cultivation with study circles, cultural events, cooking, and appreciated harvest festivals. Together, the participants have created a community that strengthens integration, participation, and sustainable lifestyles. Thanks to the newly formed association, the engagement continues, and the meeting place continues to develop even after the project's end.

The meeting Salängsgatan 7

Four disability associations have come together in a common space to collaborate and create new activities. With the help of the granted micro-support, everything from open lectures, study visits and sitting exercises have been arranged. New activities have been created, where participants gain new knowledge, can share each other's experiences and everything contributes to increased community and security.

Football night

Mark FC wanted to create new opportunities for young people to meet in the evenings – safely, fun and entirely on their terms. Through six evenings of football, music and community, the project arranged for young people to have a meaningful activity that strengthens both health and cohesion. The project also promoted young leaders who were given responsibility in planning and implementation. With the initiative, the association wanted to reduce exclusion, increase participation and lay the foundation for a recurring evening activity that lives on.

Fjällas Little Playground

In Hultafors, two committed parents have created a playground in the middle of a residential area – a place where children of all ages can play close to home, and where neighbors can meet. With the help of micro support, new play equipment has been purchased, installed and inaugurated. We are keeping our fingers crossed that many children who are eager to play will find their way there!

The rural transformer – the importance of electricity for the modernization of society

Vårgårda Hembygdsförening has restored a donated transformer and is creating a new educational exhibition about the importance of electricity for the modernization of rural areas. The association can now show the role of electricity in social development through learning activities, digital material, the inauguration was held on January 26. The goal is to inspire schoolchildren and residents to a greater understanding of energy history and a sustainable future – and to establish a new tourist destination in the municipality.

New initiative: Cultural Heritage Site Klev

Mårdaklev's Local History Association has breathed new life into the historic site of Klev. With the help of an audio guide and historical costumes for the guides, a vivid experience has been created for visitors. The goal was to make the cultural heritage more accessible – especially for new target groups such as families with children and holidaymakers. The initiative has meant a new step towards preserving the site's history, attracting more visitors and creating new collaborations in the area.

Outdoor range – archery

The project has built an outdoor archery range in Mårdaklev to enable training during the summer months, which has been something that has been requested by the association's members. The investment has strengthened access to health-promoting leisure activities in the countryside. The range will function as a new meeting place for people of different ages and experience levels, and will be used for training, competitions and try-out activities in the future.

Meeting point Peakärr

In Dukared outside Sätila, a welcoming barbecue and playground has become a reality. With benches, a slide, a balance beam and barbecue facilities, a place has been created where neighbors can meet, children can play and new contacts can be made. The project is built on local will and commitment – to make it easier to socialize in everyday life.
