The Wellbeing Hub
A new hub for collaboration, sustainability and local development in the Trivselbygden.
About the project
Trivselbygdens Utveckling AB has received leader support to create TrivselHuben, a coworking space and a center for local development.
Flexible workplaces for entrepreneurs and students
The project will offer a flexible work environment for entrepreneurs, remote workers, and students. Visitors can rent temporary office spaces, book conference rooms, or use a quiet study place close to home. Entrepreneurs will have an inspiring place to network, collaborate, and develop. Additionally, there are technical solutions such as printers and meeting equipment, creating a complete environment for both work and studies.
Focus on local food production
Furthermore, the project strengthens local food production by creating a center where producers can sell their products directly to consumers. This shortens supply chains and increases awareness of sustainable choices. By raising the question ”How many miles do I have on my plate?” more people are encouraged to choose locally produced food.
At the same time, collaborations are created between producers, which continuously strengthens both local livelihoods and the community in Trivselbygden.
Workshops that support entrepreneurs
TrivselHuben will also organize workshops and lectures in areas such as marketing, business development, and sustainability. For example, the project particularly focuses on building networks for women, which is hoped to inspire more to take their place as entrepreneurs and leaders.
Sustainability permeates the project. By reducing travel, using reused materials, and promoting local production, TrivselHuben contributes to sustainable and long-term development. After the project's conclusion, an economic association will take over the operation of TrivselHuben, contributing to the goal of creating a self-sustaining meeting place that continues to benefit entrepreneurs, producers, and residents even after the project period.
Cut from the application
”We are convinced that this project will change Trivselbygden in the short term, and also lay the foundation for sustainable development in the long term.”
The board's decision justification
The project is expected to make a significant difference for local small businesses, local food producers, and Trivselbygden as a whole. It is also expected to create a new meeting place where networking will be a natural part of the operation.
