Digitalize more – association

The purpose of the micro-support is to support associations that want to increase their digital presence, acquire greater knowledge and make greater use of the opportunities offered by digitalization.

Closed for new applications

There is no longer any money left to distribute and new applications cannot therefore be accepted.

About the micro support

Digitalize more – association is one of our micro grants. Micro grants mean less administration and faster decisions compared to applying for leader grants for a more extensive initiative.

What can you search for?

Digitalization offers great opportunities and development is happening quickly! Within the framework of Digitalize More – Associations, associations can seek support to find new ways for digital development. For example, it is possible to seek support for costs for developing a new website, digital platform or digital booking system. Likewise, skills development in social media or other initiatives that increase the association's skills and digital presence.

Who can apply?

Applicants can be associations operating in the Leader Sjuhärad geographical area. Other actors, such as several companies in collaboration, can also apply as long as the project benefits the public in the rural areas of Sjuhärad.

When can you apply?

Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis as long as there is money left to distribute. Decisions are made by the presidium at all presidium and board meetings – dates for these can be found in our calendar and the application needs to be fully completed 14 days before the relevant decision-making meeting.

Always contact us at the leader office before you start an application. We will listen to your idea and guide you so that the application is completed correctly.

Digitize the Community Village Association

The Trivselbygdens Byalag, consisting of 11 villages, wanted to improve their presence and marketing on social media to improve communication about their activities and events to the residents of the village. To succeed in this, they wanted to increase their knowledge and use of tools such as Canva, which this project was able to realize through a two-part training. In addition to increased knowledge about digital presence, the project has also contributed to increased collaboration between the village associations/villages.

Digitize the operations of the Mossebo Local Heritage Association

The members of the Mossebo local history association have a fairly high average age and their knowledge of digital tools varies, which makes it difficult for the association to work more digitally. In connection with the project that they have created a new website, they have also taken the opportunity to train the members through two general computer courses. The knowledge will also contribute to spreading the digital parish book that is being developed.

Digitize the Markbygden Red Cross District

The Markbygden Red Cross branch has a location in Skene, a location that is increasingly used as the branch's operations develop. The idea is also for the location to serve as a meeting place for the branch's management in the event of a crisis. However, the location lacked digital tools, and in order to be able to help in a crisis situation, both technical equipment and knowledge of how to use it are needed. This project has therefore focused on this – purchasing equipment and training.

New website Årås Mill

In this project, the Årås Kvarn Rural Estate Association has developed a completely new website that is user-friendly and more informative than its predecessor. Texts have been updated and new images have been taken. Visit Rydal

This project took a major digital step to coordinate actors and activities in and around Rydal. A web platform has been developed with the aim of highlighting accommodations, activities and experiences for visitors from both Sweden and other countries in the EU.

There is a strong focus on culture, crafts and nature. The hope is that the platform will facilitate reaching out in a new way, and create opportunities for collaboration through, for example, package offers.

Digitization of archives linked to Vårgårda Museum

Vårgårda local history society has a large collection of pictures and objects that carry history. By preserving these, we and future generations can share stories about people and buildings as well as industries and the development of society, a fantastic treasure!

In this project, the association has undergone skills development and acquired the equipment required to digitize images, films, documents and objects. The investment means that the association's collections will be registered, but also opportunities for new mini-exhibitions in Vårgårda Museum.

Digital moose track – Hässelås – Tranemo

In this project, Tranemo-Mossebo Wildlife Conservation District digitized the system for hit marking when shooting on the moose range. The hope is that the new technology will make more people interested in testing it, as the marking becomes completely private with the digitization. It is therefore no longer possible for others to see how well you have managed to hit the target. The project also included skills development with a focus on how the new technology works.

New website and administration system

Bollebygds Ridklubb was faced with a situation where the system that included the association's website was to be shut down. They therefore had to build a new one – completely from scratch. In connection with this work, a new system for administering the riding school operations and a student portal have also been implemented together with an app.

To ensure future operation, both skills development and the production of an instructional film for how to administer the website have been developed during the project period.
