Pre-study entrepreneurship
The purpose of Pre-study entrepreneurship is to create opportunities for individuals, companies and associations to carry out a feasibility study for a possible upcoming project within the focus area of entrepreneurship.
Closed for new applications
There is no longer any money left to distribute and new applications cannot therefore be accepted.
About the micro support
Feasibility study entrepreneurship is one of our micro grants. Micro grants mean less administration and faster decisions compared to applying for leader grants for a more extensive initiative.
What can you search for?
Sometimes a feasibility study may be needed before a large project is approved. This may involve anchoring the idea in order to find partners, more financiers or to build up a factual basis for the project activities. Micro-grants can be granted for feasibility studies that are deemed necessary for the next step.
Examples of activities that can be included in a feasibility study are building contacts with potential partners, study visits, testing a new product, or conducting market research.
Who can apply?
Applicants can be individuals, companies and associations that are planning a larger project within the focus area of Entrepreneurship.
When can you apply?
Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis as long as there is money left to distribute. Decisions are made by the presidium at all presidium and board meetings – dates for these can be found in our calendar and the application needs to be completely completed 14 days before the relevant decision-making meeting.
Always contact us at the leader office before you start an application. We will listen to your idea and guide you so that the application is completed correctly.

The project 24 H AI has investigated how artificial intelligence can be used to reduce theft and increase profitability in unmanned grocery stores. Based on Lockryd's Livs in Svenljunga municipality, the feasibility study has been conducted in collaboration with the University of Borås. Students have analyzed the store's challenges and developed nine group projects with different solution proposals. Pre-study: Climbing & skating rink in Väveriet
Uddebo is bubbling with ideas – and the association VÄV – Vi Är Väveriet wanted to explore the possibility of creating a completely new meeting place for movement and community in this preliminary study. Through study visits, dialogues and workshops, residents, especially children and young people, have been involved in investigating possibilities for a climbing and skating hall in Väveriet's main hall. As a result of fire safety restrictions, unforeseen obstacles were encountered, but despite this, a proposal for a movement area in another part of Väveriet was formed. Perhaps not what was originally intended, but an opportunity to think about it further.

Small-scale and artisanal vegetable processing
The small farm in Uddebo has been growing vegetables for sale since 2016. The vegetables are sold directly to customers as subscriptions, in a farm shop and to local restaurants. The company now aims to develop the business with a focus on processing and course activities. To have a solid foundation to stand on, they have, among other things, investigated the market for new products through a survey, participated in the fair during the Swedish Food Crafts Championship in Åhaga and conducted a study visit to Uddebo Musteri.
Mark's discount booklet
Is there demand for discount booklets in Mark? The idea is that a possible future discount booklet, with offers from local companies, will be sold by school classes and associations. It would be a positive investment for both entrepreneurs who can get increased sales, private individuals who can take advantage of offers and school classes/associations who can earn a little money for the treasury. But is there demand? Within the framework of this feasibility study, this has begun to be investigated. The Leader support has financed the production of presentation material and a CRM system to facilitate the implementation of a market survey.
